Can I visit the factory?

Yes you can! We will be looking forward to your business visit. Please schedule a visit with your sales rep and we will give you a tour of our factory and will explain to you all our manufacturing process, quality control, maintenance department, and engineering and design department.

What type of warranty do you offer?

The warranty varies depending of the surface finish of your product and ranges from 3 to 10 years.

Do you invoice from Colombia or from the States?

Stak Glass, LLC, DBA Stäk Aluminum is a company located in Miami, Florida, you will be doing business with a USA registered corporation. and all your orders will be shipped from Colombia.

What are the payment terms?

Your orders will be placed on production upon a security deposit, once finalized production it is requested the fianl payment before shipping. You can wire transfer or ACH transfer to our US based bank.

How do you package the products?

The packaging depends on customers specifications, but in general is bundled in profiles that can not weight more than 70 lbs. to make it more portable. But also can be packed in crates for faster loading and unloading decks upon request.

Minimum order quantity?

To make your profile(s) price competitive, the suggested quantity should be at least a 20 foot container load, about 40.000 lbs, but it is your call how may would you like.!

Who pays for the shipping?

Usually the shipping terms are FOB Barranquilla, Colombia, but also can be CIF Miami or CIF your port of preference. That can be arranged when quoted.

What is the lead time?

For a new order when there are no designs, die molding and initial tests, it can take longer, about 30 days just to start. Once the first order is up and running, it can vary depending on the quantities, type of alloy and aluminum treatments, but can be between 7 to 45 days production and the sea freight can be estimated to be between 5 to 12 days.
